Take your time and carefully read what the Watchtower says about rebellion against their organization. Are their statements based on the words of Jesus? Luke 6:35
Notice how much importance is placed upon the organization. It's almost as if 'the organization' and God are one of the same. Some say the organization's importance could be a modern day form of idolatry
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that salvation belongs to Jehovah. Psalms 3:8. They cannot honor humans in the same way they honor God. That's why they don't celebrate birthdays, Mother's Day, or pledge allegiance to their country and to it's flag
Holding human religious leaders in high regard, being submissive to them, being baptized in the name of their religion, ... appears to be contrary to the strict moral standards JW's live by.

Are They God's Organization?
Here's what the Watchtower says.
'Godly hate is a powerful protection against wrongdoing… Are we doing that? Apostates are included among those who show their hatred of Jehovah by revolting against him. Apostasy is, in reality, a rebellion against Jehovah. Others claim to believe the Bible, but they reject Jehovah’s organization and actively try to hinder its work. ... a Christian must hate those who have inseparably attached themselves to the badness' Watchtower, October 1, 1993, page 19. 'The slave’s will is Jehovah’s will. Rebellion against the slave is rebellion against God.' Watchtower June 1, 1956 page 346. (Who is the Faithful and Discreet Slave? - See Watchtower June 15, 2009 )
'If a publisher refuses to do this and ignores the prohibition on associating with the disfellowshipped one, that publisher is rebelling against the congregation of Jehovah, and “rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. … If after sufficient warning the publisher persists in associating with the disfellowshipped person instead of aligning himself with Jehovah’s organization he also should be disfellowshipped.' Watchtower October 1, 1955 page 607.
What Does Jesus Say?
