Do Jehovah's Witnesses Have The Truth?
Jehovah's Witnesses will do anything to defend the Watchtower organization because they trust it it is run by God Jehovah and Jesus Christ. They believe it is a theocratic organization, meaning it is run by God through his representatives.
Is this true? If so, why does the Watchtower present us with conflicting statements about Jehovah? Does the Watchtower have the backing of Jehovah? Which statements made by the Watchtower should we trust and believe?
Truth A. The Watchtower Has No Divine Inspiration.
In our article Jehovah's Witnesses and The Truth we quote several Watchtower publications that say their organization is NOT inspired by God and it is NOT infallible. If these statements made by the Watchtower are true, then it is impossible for them to be guided God and be the only true religion.
Truth B. The Watchtower Organization is Spirit Directed.
Jehovah's Witnesses must agree to this before they get baptized. 'Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization.' See Baptism and Dedication To Jehovah
Also in the handbook for elders called "PAY ATTENTION
TO YOURSELVES
AND TO
ALL THE FLOCK" they make these statements. Page 144 - 14: Congregations receive guidance from Jehovah through
Jesus Christ, his appointed Administrator. (Heb. 1:1,2); All congregations are directed by Christ Jesus under one
stewardship arrangement, or administration. (Heb. 3:6); The anointed remnant has been entrusted with all of the
Master's belongings. (Luke 12:42-44);
Can Jehovah's Witnesses Contact Spirits?
Is spiritualism allowed in the Jehovah's Witnesses faith? If spiritualism is not supported in the Bible, would it be appropriate for the Watchtower to be 'spirit directed'? How can they be sure Jehovah and Jesus are speaking to them. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Satan tries to trick God's people into disobeying Jehovah. Is it possible that Satan sometimes guides God's people, disguised as Jehovah's angels? Could that be why Watchtower doctrines are so different than all other Christian religions? Could that be why their prophecies have failed? No one knows. However it is something to think about.
Does The Anointed Remnant Speak With God?
Read more about the anointed remnant and the 'slave' Jehovah's Witnesses must obey. The Watchtower says that 'Rebellion against the slave is rebellion against God'. Watchtower June 1, 1956 page 346 Other spellings: annoited, anoited, anointed, annointed.
