How To Convince Jehovah's Witnesses to Leave Their Watchtower Religion.

Understand that it's not easy to leave most religions, especially the Watchtower organization. See Why Is It Hard To Convince Jehovah's Witnesses To Leave Their Religion

However Jehovah's Witnesses leave their religion every day. Today thanks to the internet, it's easier than ever for Jehovah's Witnesses to learn the truth about their religion and get good advice on what to do after they leave. The hard part is getting them to examine their religion seriously. They are mentally programmed to distrust and disagree with anything other than what the Watchtower says is the truth.

How can you convince a Jehovah's Witness to leave? The best way is to pretend you're interested in what they believe in. They are always looking for new recruits, so if there's a glimmer of hope that you're interested in joining, they'll talk with you.

Also most Jehovah's Witness hate going from door to door. It's stressful and most Jehovah's Witnesses are nervous about approaching new people. In spite of this they are required to do it. Not long ago Jehovah's Witnesses were asked to spend at least ten hours a month recruiting for the organization. Expectations might be different today. Since recruiting is such a negative term, the Watchtower refers to it as 'preaching the good news of God's kingdom', or 'field service', etc.

This is where you come in. It's more comfortable for them to talk with you ten hours a month than it is to talk with 100 people who might say 'no'. Fear of rejection is a powerful motivator to speak with people who make their monthly quota easier to attain. That's why Jehovah's Witnesses prefer to work with individuals who won't reject them. They will spend a lot of time with you if you approach them the right way.

The Best Way To Convince Jehovah's Witnesses To Leave The Watchtower.

In order to attract Jehovah's Witnesses and convince them to leave, attitude is everything. If you come across as arrogant, intellectual, a skeptic, or an expert you will turn them off. Never argue with them or say they are wrong. Your attitude should be on of wonder and curiosity. Always be calm, cool, collected, friendly, conversational, light hearted, and happy.

Be detached from their beliefs. Never react. There is a difference between responding to comments and reacting to what they say.

Instead of trying to manipulated them into doing what you want them to do, feel intense love for them in your heart. Examine your reasons for wanting to convince them to leave. Are you wanting them to leave because you will benefit? Do you feel that your happiness is dependent upon them leaving? Or do you want them to leave because they will be blessed? If your motivation is selfish, people will notice your true intentions and you will turn them away. If you're genuinely trying to help them, your words, actions, tone of voice, and body language will reflect your concern for their welfare.

Tools You Can Use To Convince Jehovah's Witnesses To Leave.

Luckily today, we have the internet. This makes it much easier to convince Jehovah's Witnesses to leave. Some who have nagging doubts will leave on their own accord if they spend enough time researching information the Watchtower conveniently doesn't talk about.

However the Watchtower warns against independent thinking. That's why the vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses will not visit 'apostate' websites or sites that expose the false teachings of the Watchtower. They do not want to be shaken from their faith. Even strong Jehovah's Witnesses are afraid their faith will be weakened. Since the interests of the organization and unity of beliefs is more important than correct beliefs, looking at opposing ideas, is a threat to the organization.

In spite of this it's relatively easy plant the seeds of doubt. All you need to do is present information from the internet a little bit at a time, and ask for their opinion. Never disagree with what they say. Sincerely question them if you don't understand their viewpoints, but never argue or debate. Don't bug them and ask if they saw the information you gave them. If you are trying to help them they will feel your genuine concern and respond in a positive way. If you're pushy, they will quickly see through what you're trying to do.
