The Bible says absolutely nothing about blood transfusions because ancient people did not have this life saving procedure. The Bible was very clear however about the sacredness of blood and it was not to be eaten under any circumstances. The big question is this. Is eating blood the same as having a blood transfusion? Jehovah's Witnesses say that it is.
